ARK Children's Ministry
The award winning ARK Children's Ministry Team is a dedicated group
of individuals who have demonstrated both a great desire and an incredible ability
to minister to children. This team of highly committed Christians meets
on a weekly basis to practice and prepare dynamic services for children ages
of four through eleven years old. Using an exciting variety of ministry
methods including puppets, clowns, illusions, character sketches, object
lessons, animated lessons, games, video praise and worship, and more, the
team is able to share the gospel with children in ways that make them eager
to come to church.
In addition to providing a cutting-edge Kid's Super Service every
Sunday the ARK team also conducts children's services and outreach
efforts in the community. On several occasions while hurricane Katrina
evacuees were housed in the Lake Charles Civic Center and the Burton
Coliseum, the ARK team preformed at both locations to entertain the
children who were there. The team has also performed at other functions,
churches, and children's ministry events across the state.
